<p>Waterscope is a comprehensive weather app designed for water enthusiasts. Whether you enjoy activities like surfing, fishing, boating, or a leisurely walk on the beach with your furry friend, Waterscope provides up-to-date information on your local water conditions.</p>

<p>This valuable app sources its data from two highly respected institutions: the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the National Weather Service (NWS). We owe a debt of gratitude to the dedicated scientists and experts behind these public organizations for making this app possible.</p>

<p>Waterscope presents its information through a series of user-friendly screens:</p>

<p>Upon launching Waterscope, you'll be greeted with a screen displaying a graph depicting high and low tides from the nearest measuring station. Directly below that, you'll find information on wave heights and water temperatures sourced from the closest NOAA buoy. Additionally, details such as wind speed and air temperature from a nearby NWS weather station are available. Above the graphs, you'll find the current phase of the Moon and its position relative to the horizon. The sun's position in relation to your location on Earth is displayed below.</p>

<p>At the bottom of the screen, you'll find a clock showing either the current time or time intervals for past data samples and future forecasts. Tapping on the clock will bring you back to the present time.</p>

<p>To access more information, simply tap on any large blue ring. Adjustments to your current view can be made by tapping smaller blue rings. For an explanation of symbols and markers, tap the icon located in the upper-left corner.</p>

<h3>EARTH</h3>

<p>The Earth view provides satellite imagery from your current location over the past 24 hours (represented by a small blue dot marking your position). Tapping on the '+' button allows you to view a larger version of the latest image. The hurricane symbol at the top of the screen provides up-to-date forecasts from the National Hurricane Center.</p>

<p>In the Moon view, you'll find detailed information about the Moon's phase and location for the upcoming year. The white dot signifies its height above the horizon, and aligning the blue arrow with the centerline will help you locate Earth's largest satellite.</p>

<p>Within this view, you'll discover markers indicating observations collected by the National Data Buoy Center. The arrow indicates the direction in which waves are heading. By tapping on it, you can access information on water temperature, wave height, and average wave period. To have any buoy's data appear on the home screen, simply tap the heart icon.</p>

<p>This view is similar to the Sea view, but showcases onshore observations provided by the National Weather Service. The arrow denotes wind direction, and tapping on a marker reveals information on air temperature, wind speed (with gusts), and barometric pressure. To add these details to your home screen, tap the heart icon.</p>

<p>In this view, you'll find nearby tide stations. By tapping on any marker, you can access real-time predictions for that specific location. Similar to other map views, you can save tide stations to your home screen using the heart icon.</p>

<h3>FORECAST</h3>

<p>When you move forward in time, Waterscope provides air temperature and condition forecasts. Tapping on specific conditions displays an expanded view that includes information on wind speed and direction.</p>
